Herschel Walker concedes Georgia Senate Election U.S. Senate candidate Herschel Walker speaks during a campaign stop on Thursday November 18, 2022 in the parking lot of Savannah Mall in Savannah Georgia.

Herschel Walker, the Republican candidate for Senate in Georgia, lost to Democratic incumbent Senator Raphael Warnock in their head-to-head runoff election on Tuesday night.

Walker conceded the race as Warnock leads by roughly 100,000 votes in the unofficial count.

The internet was quick to react to the loss.

“An overwhelming majority of white Evangelical Christians voted for Herschel Walker, a man who paid for abortions, lied, allegedly physically threatened and traumatized his wife, and fronts for Trump, a criminal vulgarian. Their religion is white supremacy, not Christianity,” Wajahat Ali said.

“Sure, most of the Celebrity Apprentice Republicans — Herschel Walker, Dr. Oz, Kari Lake — went down in hilarious flames this year, but I’m sure they’ll have a whole new cast of contestants for the 2024 season. Kid Rock, Kristy Swanson, Silk, the Shamwow Guy,” Kevin Kruse joked.

Herschel Walker (Georgia) has entered the portal,” Jason Isbell wrote.

“The fact that a disastrous, incompetent, sycophantic, white supremacy, apologizing, halfwit like Herschel Walker is this close to becoming a US senator says all we need to know about the racially polarized, dysfunctional, state of America,” Bishop Talbert Swan wrote.

Keith Edwards simply listed all the Donald Trump-chosen candidates that suffered a similar fate.

The Republican candidate has yet to announce what’s next for him after conceding the race.
