Former college football coach and Alabama GOP Senator Tommy Tuberville made headlines on Tuesday when he claimed the liable verdict former President Donald Trump received would only make him want to vote for him twice. Tuberville then once again grabbed the attention of everyone after making a pretty insane statement about the state of America.

Rolling Stone was among many to point out that the former Auburn coach claimed President Joe Biden had destroyed the U.S. military by trying to weed out white extremists and nationalists. The publication tweeted, “Tommy Tuberville says Biden is ‘destroying’ the military by trying to root out ‘white extremists’ and ‘white nationalists.'”

As Rolling Stone wrote, “WBHM Birmingham asked Tuberville if white nationalists should be allowed to serve in the military. ‘They call them that,’ the senator responded. ‘I call them Americans.'”

The former Auburn coach went further with his defense for the white extremists and nationalists the President was weeding out.

He said, via Rolling Stone, “We are losing in the military so fast. Our readiness in terms of recruitment. And why? I’ll tell you why, because the Democrats are attacking our military, saying we need to get out the white extremists, the white nationalists, the people that don’t believe in our agenda, as Joe Biden’s agenda. They’re destroying it.”

According to the publication, “Tuberville’s office attempted to clarify the comments in a statement to Al.com, claiming the quote ‘shows that he was being skeptical of the notion that there are white nationalists in the military not that he believes they should be in the military.'”

Tuberville formerly coached football at the University of Auburn.

The world reacted to the rather insane Tommy Tuberville news.
