President Joe Biden took a tumble on his bike on Saturday morning and you better believe that social media had some thoughts on that.

Biden is “fine” after he fell off his bike during a ride in a park near Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The President spilled over while finishing the ride and attempting to approach a group that had gathered. When he came to a stop he seemed to get his foot stuck on the pedal while trying to get off.

The 79-year-old did not receive any medical attention.

“As the President said, his foot got caught on the pedal while dismounting and he is fine. No medical attention is needed. The President looks forward to spending the rest of the day with his family,” a White House official said.

“I got my foot caught” on the toe cage, Biden told reporters later on. “I’m good.”

Naturally, any time the President of the United States takes a fall, that’s going to be the talk of the internet. But given that he was participating in a sporty activity during the mishap, that caught the attention of the sports world, which had some commentary of its own.

Looks like this is going to be a weird topic of discussion for the next few days but it’s good news that Biden appears to be unharmed by the fall.
