Washington, D.C., has had a much different feel to it since Donald Trump won last November’s presidential election and returned to the Oval Office in January. Trump defeated Democratic nominee Kamala Harris and has not looked back since, signing executive order after executive order and testing the limits of the executive branch’s power.
Harris dropped out of the spotlight following her defeat, but has recently reappeared in the media in order to promote her new book, which details her side of things from the campaign and election.
However, one prominent sports media personality is letting Harris know that her days are finished when it comes to politics, whether she has a new book or not.
“Let’s be real about Kamala Harris: Her career in politics is DONE, as far as I’m concerned. Thank you to (Chris Cuomo) for having me, as always,” tweeted Stephen A. Smith of ESPN.
People reacted to Smith’s tweet on social media.
“running to the white man to talk shit about a black woman <<<<,” one person wrote on Twitter.
“Your career should have never begun. I hate your dumb (butt),” someone else added.
“Your career in basketball only lasted 1 minute. VP Harris has been in politics for over 20 years, your so call basketball career was over in 1 minute, so stfu,” another person wrote.
Hopefully, Stephen A. sticks to sports from here on out.
