Stopping short of calling first lady Jill Biden a racist, Shaquille O’Neal discussed the recent comments made by Jill Biden that have sparked a lot of conversation on social media on his podcast.

Biden wanted both Iowa and LSU to visit the White House, an honor usually reserved only for the champions. Her suggestion was immediately met with criticism, with some even calling the first lady racist.

Shaq didn’t call Jill Biden a racist, but hinted that she might be. Shaq wasn’t hesitant to call out the first lady for her mistake.

“No, but that’s not what it was about,” O’Neal said. “That’s not what it was about. I want people to use their imaginations. You know what it was about. I’m not going to mention it. You know what it was about, right?

His podcast co-host Nischelle Turner went further than the big man saying, “We can say it. It became a race issue. It became a team of all Black girls beating a team of all white girls. That’s what it became.”

Shaq pushed back on that comment.

“I don’t like to throw that word around,” Shaq said.

He did however say Biden probably wouldn’t have extended the same invitation to LSU had they lost.

“She wouldn’t even mention LSU,” Shaq said. “There ain’t no probably.”

Shaq campaigned for Joe Biden back in 2020.

As you can see there are still some hard feelings toward the first lady.
