Earlier this week, a high-profile golf course owned by U.S. President Donald Trump became the target of vandalism by pro-Palestine protesters. Now, that group has issued a stark warning to the president.

Over the weekend, demonstrators defaced Trump’s Turnberry golf resort in Scotland, dousing the clubhouse in red paint, covering the grounds with graffiti, and even causing damage to multiple putting greens.

The activist group Palestine Action has claimed responsibility for the act, linking it to Trump’s recent remarks on the Gaza Strip. The former president recently suggested that the United States could take control of the region and redevelop it into a destination for luxury resorts.

In a statement, the group declared that it “rejects Donald Trump’s treatment of Gaza as though it were his property to dispose of as he likes.”

They also delivered a pointed warning to Trump.

“To make that clear, we have shown him that his own property is not safe from acts of resistance,” the statement continued.

By Wednesday, authorities had arrested a suspect in connection to the incident—an action that prompted an even sharper message directed at the former president.

“BREAKING: One person was arrested in Scotland, accused of painting and wrecking Trump’s Turnberry golf resort,” the group announced in a post on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

“Whilst Trump continues to plan and commit war crimes against the Palestinian people, know that no amount of police protection will stop us,” they added.

Needless to say, this led to a lot of reactions on social media.

“Glory to the resistance,” one fan wrote.

“We don’t want you here. This is our land,” another fan added.

“Reclaim all the golf courses as commons,” someone else added.

Given that the group has already demonstrated both the intent and capability to cause significant damage, this threat is certainly alarming. It remains to be seen how Trump will respond.
