United States President Donald Trump has been extremely busy since returning to the Oval Office. Trump has signed a plethora of executive orders, and his right-hand man, tech billionaire Elon Musk, has been busy cutting and gutting federal agencies.
Now, Trump is hard at work investigating the goings on of college campuses.
“The Department is deeply disappointed that Jewish students studying on elite U.S. campuses continue to fear for their safety amid the relentless antisemitic eruptions that have severely disrupted campus life for more than a year,” United States Secretary of Education Linda McMahon said.
“University leaders must do better. U.S. colleges and universities benefit from enormous public investments funded by U.S. taxpayers. That support is a privilege and it is contingent on scrupulous adherence to federal antidiscrimination laws.”
One of the 60 schools under investigation is none other than the one home to the reigning college football champions, Ohio State, per NBC4 Columbus.
“The Trump administration said it is sending a letter to Ohio State University notifying the school that it is under investigation for claims of anti-Semitic discrimination and harassment,” NBC reported on Twitter.
People reacted to the news of the investigations on social media.
“So a trumped up charge is fine but investigating our own state’s Congressman Jordan for the abuse of athletes he let slide while there is off limits?” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Ya but they just rolled back DEI initiatives, so I’m confused,” one fan added.
“Fortunately, President Slapshot has purged OSU of the woke mind virus. No place in the USA for terrorist sympathizers and certainly not at OSU,” another fan added.
It’ll be interesting to see what comes from the investigation.
