Sandy Wexler, played by Adam Sandler, chatting with NASCAR drivers.

Adam Sandler is making a new movie in which Adam Sandler plays an Adam Sandler character. At this point in time, isn’t that the only description you really need for an Adam Sandler film? Regardless, Sandler has to go out and do some promoting for his latest Netflix film, titled Sandy Wexler, and his latest PR push took him to the NASCAR track to mingle in-character with some of NASCAR’s finest drivers.

In character as Sandy Wexler, a talent-seeking agent looking to add some clients to his portfolio, Sandler chats with various drivers, fluffs them up a bit and tries to provide some advice. Among those stopping to chat with Sandler are Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kurt Busch and Denny Hamlin.

Clearly, Wexler seems a little in over his head when it comes to wooing clients from the race track. Handshake deals aren’t always going to cut it.

Sandy Wexler is being released on Netflix April 14. That still leaves some time for Sandler’s latest alter-ego to try to convince some clients from around the sports world to join him.
