Shannon Sharpe Undisputed

It’s been a week since actress/activist Amanda Seals joined Shannon Sharpe on his “Club Shay Shay” show.

Seales did a three-hour interview with Sharpe, which initially seemed to be ok, but apparently, something later set her off. Sharpe asked Seales point blank if she had been diagnosed with Autism. Seales has claimed in the past that she indeed was on the spectrum and seems to be upset with Sharpe for questioning her self-autism diagnosis.

She recapped part of the interview and why she was angry with him.

“Shannon: But have you been clinically diagnosed?”

Me: “Yes, there is a clinical diagnosis of autism.

“He then hung his head and exhaled in frustration because I did not answer his question.”

She continued, saying, “This is called deflection. Why? Because I was not going to be pressured by this man who was interrogating me with absolutely zero love for me into proving something to him. By his line of questioning, he had already committed to undermining.”

The question some are asking is if she is really autistic if she hasn’t been officially diagnosed by a doctor.

Seales has sometimes seemed to have used this as an excuse to justify her behavior, and she has been on the warpath with not only Sharpe but others she deemed as doing her wrong, such as friend and fellow actress and writer Issa Rae, who starred in the HBO series Insecure along with Seales.

Sharpe is just the latest in a long line of people Seales has targeted recently.
