We’re two weeks away from the third season premiere of AMC’s Better Call Saul, the Breaking Bad which chronicles the birth of Saul Goodman from his previous identity, Jimmy McGill.
Some earlier viral marketing for season three confirmed that Giancarlo Esposito’s Gus Fring character would make his debut on the show this season, and this behind the scenes video also shows another Breaking Bad actor on the set – Bryan Cranston!??!
OK, don’t get too excited – as Cranston said in the video, his Walter White character isn’t going to be featured in season three. He was just on the set after being in the neighborhood for a book tour.
But notice the phrasing in that video – “Bryan Cranston will not be in this season of “Better Call Saul”. THIS SEASON! So the door is open for future seasons, right?
Eh…maybe not. White didn’t meet Goodman until season three of Breaking Bad. If he randomly showed up, it would probably seem forced.
Then again…never say never.
