One of the biggest summer blockbusters of 2016 was “Captain America: Civil War.” The film featured a strong roster of characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe previously seen in films like “The Avengers” and introduced new characters in Spider-Man and Black Panther while also inviting Ant-Man to the party.

Noticeably absent from the story were Thor and Hulk. Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor in the Marvel films, had some fun with his absence from “Civil War” last year by dropping a video on The Russo Brothers’ Facebook page. It turns out Hemsworth is still a bit miffed at his exclusion, even as he is joining the entire Marvel family in the filming of “Avengers: Infinity War”.

During some down time on the set, Hemsworth came across a table of action figures and was quick to notice that once again Thor was curiously missing from the setup. Right on cue, Hemsworth once again let his voice of disapproval be heard in comedic fashion.

Hemsworth poking fun at the action figure of Hawkeye was good, seeing as Hawkeye looks so much different in his source material compared to his big-screen look. And, obviously, this is Thor’s first chance seeing characters like Spider-Man and Star-Lord. And he lets it be known he would take down both Iron Man and Captain America if he wanted.

The kicker is Hemsworth picking up the Hulk figure and taking him because they’re now “mates.” Hulk joins Hemsworth in “Thor: Ragnorak” this fall, and it looks like the big green giant is going to play a key role alongside our favorite Asgardian.

“Thor: Ragnarok” will be released on November 3, 2017. “Avengers: Infinity War” is scheduled for release on May 4, 2018.
