The Presidential election is on Tuesday, November 8th. After that, hopefully, it’ll be over. To celebrate, SNL is rewarding America with Dave Chappelle hosting Saturday Night Live for the first time ever.

That’s right, on Saturday November 12th comedian Dave Chappelle will be hosting Saturday Night Live for the first time in his career.

Naturally, a lot of people are excited:

Chappelle would seem like a perfect fit, with a background in both stand up and sketch comedy via Chapelle’s Show. The show debuted in January of 2003 and ran until July of 2006, and still airs in syndication.

Over the last couple of years, Chappelle has done stand-up all over, including ten nights at the famous Radio City Music Hall in 2014. The comedian will pop up and do random shows now, as well as the odd film appearance, such as Spike Lee’s Chi-Raq in 2015.

Chappelle will be accompanied by A Tribe Called Quest as the music guest.

There’s another new episode coming this weekend, with Benedict Cumberbatch hosting for the first time.
