Remember that video of the University of Connecticut student that went viral because he was being a jerk about his mac and cheese? If you don’t, here’s a refresher.

Well guess what, he’s back in the news and it’s not great news one again.

Luke Gatti, 20, is his name and it’s been reported he’s gotten in trouble with the law once again, except this time it’s worse.

Records from the Palm Beach county Sheriff’s Office show he was arrested in May. Gatti is being charged with battery on an office or EMT and resisting an officer with violence.

The incident occurred when Gatti ran away from the Wellness Resource Center barefoot only hours after his initial arrival on May 27th. Previously, Gatti was at a detox center in Fort Lauderdale for alcohol and drug addiction treatment. He was later released on bond on Tuesday, May 31st.

Gatti, who’s originally from New York, did release an apology after his last tirade, you know the one involving the mac and cheese.

“I wanna get a few things out there. I want to start by apologizing to all the staff involved in my incident,” Gatti said. “I was a complete asshole to (the manager) and nobody deserved to be treated that way ever. At the time, to the say the least, I was very intoxicated.”

Gatti later in his video apologized for the problems he’s dealt with and claimed the mac and cheese incident was a wake up call. However, it wasn’t his first incident and instead his third. Back in the fall of 2014, Gatti dealt with disorderly conduct issues twice as a student at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

The 20-year-old quickly left UConn after the mac and cheese incident and in December, a Superior Court judge granted accelerated rehabilitation to him. This could lead to the charges of misdemeanor breach of peace and criminal trespassing to be dropped after and if he completed one year of probation. Gatti was also sentenced to 100 hours of community service.

As for the more recent situation in Florida, Gatti pleaded not guilty to the chargers and his next court appearance is July 27th. Does anyone know if they have mac and cheese in jail down in Florida?
