Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has taken an unusual path to the top of show business.
From playing football at The U to dominating the WWE to becoming one of the most bankable actors working today, Johnson has ascended the mountain. Tuesday he added another title to his long list of accomplishments, being named People’s Sexiest Man Alive!

What could possibly be left for Johnson to conquer? Well, he’s so beloved that some are jokingly (sorta) that he needs to run for President in 2020.
That joke has become a serious thought for the former WWE World Champion:
“I used to say it jokingly but every time I was asked, it was with a real genuine interest. And it was very earnest. And so I started to really think. Could I make a difference? Could I surround myself with really brilliant people to help me make decisions? Do I care about this country? And when the answers continued to come up yes, then I thought, there’s a good chance. Yeah, one day. Then we’ll do another interview like this.”
Maybe not in 2020, but it is clear that people (and People) are in love with Dwayne Johnson as much as they loved The Rock.
People could have just as easily named him Most Charismatic Man Alive.
