However you feel about the new Ghostbusters trailer, having it back in the pop culture is always a good thing.

It leads to the return of a lot of great things from our childhoods (or thereabouts). Ecto-Cooler is coming back, amongst other things. Anovos is bringing us something that we didn’t have back in the 80’s but would have killed for. A build-it-yourself Proton Pack that looks absolutely amazing.

While it’s easy enough to build yourself, it’s probably not going to be something your seven-year-old could do by himself, especially considering the ABS and fiberglass bits have to be attached to the main base of the contraption.

Please note that the light and sound electronics package featuring movie sound effects will be sold seperately. We know that’s a biggie for you.

Once you look at the fully constructed product, it really does look like the film version. It will make the perfect accessory to bring with you to the movie premiere or your next pop culture convention. The only problem? It’ll run you $600 and they don’t ship until November, so Halloween is unfortunately out of the question.

Christmas, however, is fair game. Heat’m up.
