Spinning $1.00 on The Price Is Right gets you an extra $1,000 and a bonus spin. If you spin $1.00 on the bonus spin, you get another $10,000.

On Friday, the tenth anniversary of host Drew Carey’s first show, the stakes were upped – the first $1.00 spin gave you $10,000, and spinning $1.00 on the bonus spin gave you $25,000.

I don’t think anyone expected contestants to hit $1.00 on five spins in a row (though two of the first three spinners needed both of their spins to reach the magic $1.00 mark).

That’s madness. Pure, utter madness. I hope all of the “sick” kids that stayed home from school on Friday enjoyed the hell out of that.
