Actor and entertainer Kevin Hart became the subject of conversation on the Internet on Thursday. Hart boldly challenged a former NFL running back to a footrace. The world-renowned entertainer quickly learned just how fast NFL players are and just how difficult it is to beat them in a footrace.
Hart went viral after revealing he recently raced Stevan Ridley. In his pro days, Ridley starred for the New England Patriots and for numerous other teams after a successful collegiate career at LSU. Ridley won Super Bowl XLIX with the Patriots.
Hart posted a video on his Instagram page revealing his difficulties. He captioned the post saying, “44 and sitting my *** down!!!!! I got to be the dumbest man alive!!!!! What the **** am I doing???? I blew my ****….I’m done. FML.” He explained that he was in a wheelchair after challenging Ridley to a race. He seemed to regret it, based on the post and his reaction to being put in the chair.
Several notable stars found Hart’s post and commented on it. That included Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, who’s co-starred with Hart in several films. Mario, Mercedes Varnado, Will Smith, and Pro Football Hall of Famer Darrelle Revis also commented on the post.
Revis hilariously told Hart to, “Ice up, son!” and posted a GIF of former Carolina Panthers great Steve Smith, who helped to coin that phrase.
Next time, hopefully Kevin Hart realizes who he’s messing with, former player or not.
