Liotta is arguably best known for his role in the 1990 classic mobster movie Goodfellas where he portrayed Henry Hill.

He has also taken part in roles in countless other movies such as Cop Land, Corrina Corrina, Operation Dumbo Drop, Unforgettable, Wild Hogs and Blow.

Field of Dreams was such a beloved classic that Major League Baseball decided to replicate the stadium used in the movie for the “Field of Dreams Game” in 2021 between the Chicago White Sox and the New York Yankees, which was considered a huge success.

This unfortunate news on Thursday will certainly be on the mind of sports fans in August when the 2022 edition of the “Field of Dreams Game” takes place between the Chicago Cubs and the Cincinnati Reds.
