We are inching closer and closer to the solo debut of the brand new Spider-Man in Spider-Man: Homecoming and the third trailer that released today certainly give Spidey fans plenty to salivate over.

Marvel Entertainment released the latest trailers for everybody’s favorite friendly neighborhood Spider-Man (played by Tom Holland) and in it we see how the youngest Peter Parker seen on the big screen yet is adjusting to his new life as a superhero in training. Armed with gear from Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), Parker is still learning how to use his super suit to its full potential while also struggling with the life of a teenager in high school simply looking to find his own identity and at the same time live two separate lives.

Spider-Man: Homecoming was being hailed as being a classic throwback to high school film drama, and this latest trailer certainly plays to that theme. While working on his hero skills, we see Parker is going through a training regimen that has him reporting back his progress updates to Stark. As any teenager can identify with, we see Parker is simply looking to prove himself on a bigger stage, whether he is ready for it or not.

Michael Keaton, playing the role of Vulture, gets some play in the North American trailer as well. His time in the spotlight is brief, but he is clearly playing to the “things are different now, and we have to be prepared for it” bad guy angle. But this trailer primarily focuses on Parker and his growing up process on his way to being a legendary hero.

For those who have been keeping tabs on the Spider-Man: Homecoming trailers, there is a good amount of recycled material, such as the interactions between Parker and Stark in the car, Spider-Man thwarting a bank robbery with guys dressed in Avengers masks, and more. But there is enough fresh content in the trailer to dig more into the main story without seemingly giving away too much. Sometimes trailers can give away too much to spoil the movie as a whole (see: Batman v. Superman and Doomsday), but that doesn’t really seem to be the case here.

The latest international trailer was also released, and it shifts the focus more to the conflict between Parker and Vulture. The tone is clearly more ominous and brings to light more on the background and plans of Vulture and his motives. In it, we see the lasting effect of the Chitauri Invasion from The Avengers continues to be used, as Vulture sees the leftover weapons and technology from the aliens as an opportunity to create new weapons for his own motives.

As for Spider-Man, the international trailer starts off with a terrific throwback to Spider-Man’s MCU debut in Captain America: Civil War. The excitement Parker had just being around the Avengers is just as fun in the trailer as it was in Civil War.

Hopefully these will be the final trailers released for Spider-Man: Homecoming. We’ve seen enough to raise the excitement just enough without going overboard and ruining any of the potential plotlines we will see unfold. This looks like it could be the best Spider-Man film seen since the first Sam Raimi film starring Tobey Maguire.

Spider-Man: Homecoming will be released on July 7, 2017.
