May the Fourth be with you.
None of the eight major Star Wars movies have been released on May 4th, but because of the franchise’s key phrase “May the Force Be With You,” May 4th has turned into a Star Wars holiday of sorts.
With Thursday being May 4th, Star Wars is celebrating its own holiday with an attack ad on major Star Wars characters and in a way the franchise itself.
The ad goes directly after the Rebel Alliance and is in favor of the Empire. It’s a hilarious ad and a perfect parody of the kind of political ads we see in today’s world.
At the same time, the Star Wars website is promoting the Empire, the official Star Wars Twitter account is using GIFs showcasing the heroic nature and good acts done by the Rebel Alliance.

But maybe Star Wars should maybe think about taking its ad down, since an actual Evil Empire is now supporting the Empire…
