If you want to find some laughs on election night instead of watching your preferred news network’s coverage of the presidential election, then make sure you are subscribed to Showtime. Stephen Colbert will be hosting a live election night special on Showtime.

The show will appropriately be titled Stephen Colbert Live Election Night Democracy Series Finale: Who’s Going to Clean Up This Sh*t, on November 8 at 11 pm ET.

“It’ll be all the political comedy you love from my CBS show with all the swearing and nudity you love from Showtime,” Colbert said.

The special is expected to have live guests and analysis with a dose of shenanigans. The hour-long special will air as the election is likely made official by the votes coming in, which is surely what the show is hoping will be the case. This will not be your typical election night special, which may be just what the doctor has ordered after this election cycle (regardless of your political beliefs).

Colbert has been known for his political sense of humor, dating back to his run on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart on Comedy Central. Though he has left his character behind at Comedy Central, Colbert still stays in tune with the political landscape for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on CBS.
