Taylor Swift’s 2026 was supposed to be one of the best years of her life, with her set to marry Kansas City Chiefs superstar tight end Travis Kelce. Unfortunately, things have taken a brutal turn.
An old close friend of Swift’s, Hollywood actress Blake Lively, has been involved in a heated and high-profile feud with the director of one of her films, Justin Baldoni. The pair worked together on “It Ends with Us,” but everything has turned sour between them. Variety has now obtained court documents that reveal a text message exchange between Lively and Swift addressing the situation.
“I think this bitch knows something is coming because he’s gotten out his tiny violin,” Swift said over text, according to Variety.

Fans reacted to the exchange on social media, and it seems that they aren’t exactly pleased with Swift.
“I’m genuinely shaken by Taylor Swift’s text messages. Calling Justin Baldoni a “little bitch” and mocking him for opening up about his past, especially when the film centers on domestic violence, feels incredibly dark. Celebrities really show their true colors,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Looks like Taylor Swift and Blake Lively were just nasty mean girls conspiring to take Justin Baldoni’s movie from him,” someone else added. “The text messages show that Taylor Swift straight up lied about her involvement.
“For someone so upset about her masters being stolen she was sure eager to steal someone else’s work, seemingly just for fun. Here’s a taste of the nastiness. How much do you want to bet that the media will sweep this under the rug? We are the media now.”
It’ll be interesting to see if Swift addresses the texts to try to reclaim some goodwill.
