Beloved actor and comedian Bob Saget was found dead on Sunday at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, as first reported by TMZ. He was 65.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office released the following statement:

Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room. The man was identified as Robert Saget & pronounced deceased on scene. Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case.

Saget appeared in many movies and television shows, and was best-known for playing TV dad Danny Tanner on the sitcom Full House. He’s also had a huge following for his stand-up comedy, which he’d been on tour for. He tweeted the following early on Sunday morning:

In addition to his work as an actor and comedian, Saget has been a director and TV host, notably for America’s Funniest Home Videos.

This is a huge loss, and there’s been a ton of reaction on social media to the devastating news.
