Usher is going to headline the Super Bowl LVIII halftime show in Las Vegas this February. The NFL and Apple Music made that announcement Sunday, and did so with a couple of notable videos splicing in celebrities to the start of Usher’s famed “Confessions Part II” video. Here are those, with Marshawn Lynch, Kim Kardashian, and Deion Sanders:

The Kardashian one is perhaps particularly notable given how Kardashian discussed how upset she was about missing Usher’s show in Vegas last fall due to weather. That led to him inviting her back, and to her making it to another show he played there in April. And that led to a shoutout from Usher on stage.

Since releasing his self-titled debut album in 1994, Usher has released seven further solo studio albums (plus the collaborative A with Zaytoven), 10 compilations, and eight EPs. He’s sold more than 100 million total records worldwide. So he’s certainly a big get for this show. And it’s interesting to see the celebrities Apple Music and the NFL were able to pull in for this announcement, and the way they riffed on that Confessions Part II video. Here’s that original video for reference:

Super Bowl LVIII will be held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on February 11, 2024. The game is set for a 6:30 p.m. ET kickoff on CBS.
