Fans of Metallica’s 1980’s work have long been unhappy with what the band has put out. Some have accused them of not being “metal” anymore.
Apparently Metallica isn’t metal anymore…as they have sold out and rocked to the Pokemon theme.
No seriously, the guys who have protected their image more than any other band in the history of bands on purpose played the Pokemon theme song.
Ok, now that you got good and ticked off, let’s be real. The rock was all Metallica while the voice..totally the original voice of Pokemon’s theme song — an Egyptian Symphonic Rock band called the Redeemers.
So rest easy all you angsty Metallica fans, they haven’t totally sold out just yet.
