The team behind cult hit comedy Wet Hot American Summer launched a successful full season of the film’s revival prequel series on Netflix in 2015. Now, they’re teaming up again for a new project at TBS.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, TBS is developing a comedy titled Moon Cruise, starring Wet Hot‘s Michael Ian Black. The show, which will be a half-hour comedy, was described as The Love Boat, but in space. The concept sounds incredible just on that elevator pitch alone.

Despite few details for Moon Cruise being revealed, the fact that David Wain and Michael Showalter are producing is enough reason to get excited. The longtime collaborators have developed consistently funny projects over the past two decades, including Wet Hot and its revival series, The State, and They Came Together. With Black in the fold, there’s little reason to believe the show won’t succeed.

TBS is a solid fit, as the network has developed a relationship with Showalter. He co-created the dark comedy Search Party for the network, which just was renewed for a second season. Frankly, the more Showalter projects (especially with his Wet Hot team) TBS adds to its lineup, the better.

Moon Cruise sounds like a batshit crazy concept, but if anyone’s capable of tackling Love Boat in space, it’s the Wet Hot team. Hopefully, they can open their address book and pull in some big names for cameo appearances in the project. (Paul Rudd, Amy Poehler, Elizabeth Banks and Bradley Cooper, anyone?) Regardless, Moon Cruise will be worth tuning into when the show debuts.
