We’re about to enter March, which means Spring Training, the NCAA Tournament… and plenty of new content on Netflix!

March 2016 really is a big month for Netflix, with the release of new seasons for two of their most popular original series, in House of Cards and Daredevil. We also get the premiere of the Netflix original film, Pee-wee’s Big Holiday.

A new month also means that we’ll unfortunately lose some shows and movies on Netflix (like American Pie and American Wedding), so we’ll provide that information in case you want to quickly watch any of them before they’re gone.

Let’s first take a look at what’s coming to Netflix in March…

House of Cards: Season 4 (Netflix Original)

Season four of House of Cards arrives, and it looks as ridiculous and murder-filled as the previous three. Oh those Underwoods!

Flaked is a new Netflix Original series starring Will Arnett, and featuring Mitchell Hurwitz (creator of Arrested Development) as the executive producer. You’ll even notice Heather Graham and McLovin (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) in the trailer.

Here’s the description of the series from Netflix on the trailer’s YouTube page:

Flaked is a dry, slice-of-life comedy about Chip, a celebrated long-time resident of the insular world of Venice, California who falls for the object of his best friend’s fascination. Soon the tangled web of half-truths and semi-bullshit that underpins his all-important image and sobriety begins to unravel. Will Arnett plays Chip, a man doing his honest best to stay one step ahead of his own lies.

Netflix Presents: The Characters: Season 1 (Netflix Original)

Another new Netflix Original series, and a unique one:

We gave 8 comedians each their own episode of a series. No rules. No limits. No one else would do this. Seriously.

Netflix is proud to present a wildly inventive and wholly original comedy experience with The Characters! Each episode of this groundbreaking series features one of the best and brightest comedians today performing a wide array of hilarious characters. What was once reserved for sketch festivals and comedy clubs can now be enjoyed in your living room.

The Characters features Kate Berlant, Dr. Brown, Paul Downs, John Early, Lauren Lapkus, Tim Robinson, Natasha Rothwell, and Henry Zebrowski as you’ve never seen them before and never will again.

It will be interesting to see the reception of The Characters, and it would seem that every episode could be a straight-up hit or miss since each episode will be based around a different comedian.

Daredevil: Season 2 (Netflix Original)

The anticipation for season two of Daredevil is strong, after a terrific first season. Now, The Punisher enters the picture (as portrayed by Jon Bernthal; you may know him as “Shane” from The Walking Dead) as a new challenge for Matt Murdock in Hell’s Kitchen.

Pee-wee’s Big Holiday (Netflix Original)

Paul Reuben returns to star in a brand new Pee-wee Herman film (and a Netflix Original), Pee-wee’s Big Holiday. My main reaction to this: “Holy shit, it’s been over 30 YEARS since Pee-wee’s Big Adventure came out?! I’m old.” For a much more in-depth reaction, Harry Lyles Jr. did that very well for us.
