AEW champions really need to start parking their cars in better spots.
For the second time, an AEW belt-holder has had that championship title stolen from them out of their car.
This time, it was AEW TNT Champion Wardlow.
Wardlow, whose actual name is Michael Austin Wardlow, was in San Francisco earlier this week for a pay-per-view event when he parked his rental car at the Chase Center. He would later post a video to social media that presumably showed his rental car with broken windows while noting that several items had been taken, including his championship belt.
“Well, thanks to the person who broke into my rental car and took absolutely everything from me. My TNT title, my gear, my boots, my whole life were in those bags,” Wardlow said.
Might have new gear tomorrow. Will also have an abundance of frustration to take out to say the very least…. Damn pic.twitter.com/07un3lfhd9

Sadly, Wardlow had just won the AEW TNT Championship at “Revolution” just two days earlier.
He didn’t have to worry about the status of his belt for too long as he lost his title against Powerhouse Hobbs on Wednesday.
Three years ago, former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho also had his belt stolen when he left it inside a limousine while eating dinner.
Clearly, all AEW champions need to have someone monitoring their vehicles from now on.
