The Stanley Cup is the best trophy in all of sports. No other trophy is able to conjure up the same level of feelings and emotions. Need proof?
Wyatt Nelson, a 12-year-old hockey fan of the WHL’s Saskatoon Blades, shares the love of the game with his father. Unfortunately, Wyatt’s dad Gerry lost his vision to diabetes back in 1988 and has since relied on the radio to “see” Blades games. Preseason games don’t carry a radio broadcast, so Wyatt stepped up and delivered some amazing play-by-play for Gerry.
As a special surprise, the two were given a private meeting with the Stanley Cup.
