Kyle Busch is just as confused as anyone else as to why NASCAR officials hit him with penalties Monday at Dover.

Busch, who started on the pole for the Cup Series race and led the first 20 laps, got busted for speeding on pit road during the competition caution.

Although a lot of folks may not have noticed it at the time, Busch being Busch, he had a few choice words for NASCAR officials.

Busch had to make a pit stop which apparently is when all the action took place and his spotter Derek Kneeland jumped into action.

“Three, two, one, wheel straight, foot on the brake,” Kneeland instructed. Then, crew chief Randall Burnett urged Busch to take back the lead on exit: “Go, go, go, go. All the way out, no pressure.”

Busch then hit the gas, looking to regain the time he lost during his pit stop. But, as he hit the pedal, NASCAR officials nabbed him for being above the limit, and he was handed the penalty.

Kneeland let him know that he had been busted, to which Busch responded, “I don’t get it.”

The penalty all but cost Busch positioning during the race and the victory as well.

So it sounds like it was Busch’s crew that screwed up, not him. This was Busch’s fourth penalty of the season leaving some NASCAR fans to wonder whether they are out to get Busch since it is apparent the bad boy of NASCAR is ready to make a comeback this season especially after his win at Talladega a few weeks ago.
