There aren’t many things left for Lewis Hamilton to accomplish in the world of Formula 1.
The 38-year-old has won seven World Drivers’ Championship titles and is the all-time leader in wins, pole positions, and podium finishes.
So perhaps if Hamilton is looking for a new challenge, he might find it driving in a NASCAR car. While there’s certainly a big difference between F1 and NASCAR, it sounds like the English driver is up for the challenge.
“I’d love to try it,” said Hamilton on Thursday when asked if he’d be interested in NASCAR.

It would be an extremely big deal if Hamilton ever decided to join NASCAR. One of the biggest names in the racing world and would likely bring tons of attention with him, especially if he were able to be competitive quickly.
Hamilton wouldn’t be the first driver to make the jump from F1 to NASCAR as he’d be following in the footsteps of Juan Pablo Montoya and Mario Andretti, amongst a few others. As it stands, Montoya, Andretti, and Dan Gurney are the only drivers to ever win in F1, IndyCar, and the NASCAR Cup Series.
If Lewis Hamilton is looking for a fresh challenge, you’d have to imagine the idea of joining NASCAR, even for just one or two races, has to be up there.
