The Turkish league match between Trabzonspor and Galatasaray got a little crazy over the weekend. Four, yes, count them, FOUR Trabzonspor players were shown a red card as the side only finished the match with seven players. But the last of the four red cards was definitely worth it.
Salih Dursun of Trabzonspor had finally seen enough from the referee after he sent off a third teammate following a penalty against his side. He then got to live out every player’s secret fantasy by mockingly showing the referee a red card.
Unfortunately for Dursun, the referee dutifully picked up the red card and showed it back to him, ejecting him for his troubles. Apparently it only works when given from referee to player and not the other way around…

At the time, the game was still remarkably tied 1-1 with Trabzonspor holding on to a draw, but Galatasaray converted the penalty and won 2-1.
Why would the refs be giving Trabzonspor such a hard time? I wonder if it has something to do with their club president LOCKING THEM IN THE STADIUM EARLIER THIS SEASON.
