The USMNT lineup vs. England is out and it has only one change from the XI that drew Wales on Monday. Fans were quick to share their thoughts as the US continues its 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign. First, here’s the lineup:

Now onto the reactions, most of which were not big fans of Gregg Berhalter’s choices. Sergiño Dest, Weston McKennie and Tim Ream all picked up yellow cards in the Wales match. If any of the trio see yellow today, they will be automatically suspended for the third and final group stage match vs. Iran.
“Feels a bit risky to play this many players on yellow cards given how big the Iran match is, but clearly Gregg Berhalter sees tonight as a chance to get a result,” tweeted CBS Sports writer Ives Galarcep.
“WOW. Haji Wright up front. No Reyna. Dest & McKennie both risked on yellow cards,” tweeted Kyle Bonn of the Sporting News.

The 24-year-old Haji Wright makes just his fifth USMNT appearance, with Josh Sargent moving to the bench. Though US supporters disagree on the lineup, their fans in Qatar are unified on what the sport is called.
