Fake reporter tweeted that Colgate’s Jordan Burns missed a flight and took an Uber, fooled CBS and Burns’ mom
A fake reporter account that's been around since December got almost 10,000 likes for a false report of a Colgate player missing a flight, a report subsequently picked up by some CBS local sites. That report even fooled the player's mom.
