Four months after the Alameda County Sheriff's Department accused Toronto Raptors' president Masai Ujiri of battery against a deputy in the post-game scene after the Raptors' championship, the county DA has declined to file charges.
"(The deputy) did not know who the man was and asked for the credential, and that’s when he tried to push past our deputy, and our deputy pushed him back, and there was another push that kind of moved up and struck our deputy in the face."
No one seems really happy about this trade.
Is it even worth relaying the "We'll be better next year" comments at this point?
Following another sweep at the hands of the Cavaliers, Toronto's stuck in a middle ground that leaves the franchise with questions.
"We have to inspire people and give them a sense of hope. We need to bring people along, not ridicule and tear them down. This cannot be the message that we accept from the leader of the free world."
