Steve Young offers passionate defense of Lamar Jackson

Lamar Jackson has received praise from all corners, including from Steve Young, as the Hall of Famer praised the Ravens QB this week.

Who's the best Niner ever? Montana, Young, or Rice?

"Somewhat shocked by this."

“Zach doesn’t need tough love. He doesn’t need somebody to see how tough he is. He needs a big brother."

The 49ers legend had praise for Kyle Shanahan.

“Those are absolutely legitimate feelings and emotions.”

"Zach Wilson has 'spoiled rich kid' written all over him."

"If Jimmy is hanging around and your psyche is such that it causes you grief, you’re not gonna make it anyway."

“For me, I’m going to take everything I possibly can from a guy like that."

“I didn’t know this, but I grew up with severe childhood separation anxiety."

"I don’t need nobody telling me what I need to do or what I don’t need to do unless you’re in this building grinding with me."

In Seattle Monday night, Young bit the head off a raw fish on live TV.
