Trevor Bauer is facing sexual assault allegations from another woman.
"Don’t be an idiot. That is disrespectful."
Trevor Bauer is headed to Japan.
The Dodgers officially released disgraced pitcher Trevor Bauer, who was suspended for heinous sexual assault allegations.
Apparently, Trevor Bauer was not expecting this decision from the Dodgers.
"Now that this process has been completed, and after careful consideration, we have decided that he will no longer be part of our organization."
Bauer was reinstated to MLB and had his lengthy suspension reduced, an arbitrator ruled on Thursday.
Disturbing unreported details emerged from the ongoing Trevor Bauer saga regarding the pitcher's sexual assault and domestic violence cases.
Bauer has indicated that he's going to appeal, making him the first of 16 players sanctioned under this policy to launch an appeal.
Bauer was originally placed on paid administrative leave last July following an accusation of sexual assault.
Major League Baseball is not expected to make a decision on any potential suspension until the offseason.
"A Dodgers spokesman said the decision was made because the team 'did not feel it was appropriate' to have the promotion or continue to sell the merchandise 'while investigations continue by Major League Baseball and the Pasadena Police Department.'"
"The Dodgers let MLB enforce the leave of absence, but in my opinion, you don’t need to wait for MLB to tell you what to do. Why are you putting your hands on a woman that way?"
This comes after Dodgers' manager Dave Roberts had indicated the team planned to start Bauer as normal on Sunday.
