If rapper and actor Drake thought he’d get a positive response to his new song “Middle of the Ocean,” he’d be wrong. In his new track, the rapper disses fellow rapper Meg “Thee” Stallion as well as tennis player Serena Williams and her husband Alex Ohanian.

Drake didn’t hold any punches in calling Serena’s husband “a groupie” in his song

“I swear you don’t even mean what y’all say like y’all dubbin’ a movie/Sidebar, Serena, your husband a groupie,” Drake raps. “He claim we don’t got a problem but/No, boo, it is like you comin’ for sushi/We might pop up on ’em at will like Suzuki.”

While Serena hasn’t said anything to Drake yet, her husband responded Friday in a tweet.

“The reason I stay winning is because I’m relentless about being the absolute best at whatever I do — including being the best groupie for my wife & daughter.”

While Serena didn’t directly respond to Drake, she did send out this loving tweet to her husband in response.

A lot of people chimed in on what Drake and Ohanian had to say with most taking Ohanian’s and Serena’s side, including some celebrities.

Drake dated Serena back in the early 2000s and, from the looks and sounds of it, may not have truly gotten over her.
