When you are a parent, you are never off the clock. A parent will always be a parent, even if in the middle of a tennis match.
While in the middle of a match in the Swiss Open, Patty Schnyder of Switzerland took a brief break to communicate with her husband and asked for her daughter’s arms to be covered to prevent her getting a sunburn. That’s just good parenting.

Getting burned is no joke, especially for those who tend to be pale by nature, myself included. So when this mom saw her daughter in the stands without any sleeves on, she made sure to take care of what needed to be attended to no matter what.
Remember to always wear sunscreen to protect yourselves and your kids from those harmful sun rays. We don’t all have a mom on the tennis court to keep us in check.
