We get to a crazy Wednesday night in the NBA, a Saved by the Bell diner, an insane Star Wars/Mario Kart mashup, and much more here at the Thursday Cheat Sheet. Giddy up…

Celtics & Spurs win thrillers; Warriors continue best start in NBA history; D’Angelo Russell takes a LeBron pass to the nuts

If you aren’t a big follower of the NBA or the Boston Celtics, you might be surprised to know that the Celtics are playing some fantastic basketball right now. After the Celtics’ 139-134 overtime win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night, they’ve now won 10 of their last 12 games and are the No. 3 seed in the East. They’re, like, for real good.

A huge reason for their success is All-Star guard Isaiah Thomas, and he dropped 36 points in Wednesday’s win, with two of those points coming on a fadeaway jumper to send the game into overtime:

We also had the San Antonio Spurs getting late-game heroics from a 2016 All-Star, in Kawhi Leonard. With the Spurs-Magic game tied 96-96 in Orlando, Leonard drained a jumper with 00.9 seconds on the clock for the win:

The Spurs are now an incredible 45-8… and are still four games back in the loss column of the Western Conference. That’s because the Golden State Warriors are now 48-4 after their 112-104 win on Wednesday. FORTY-EIGHT AND FREAKING FOUR.

The team the Warriors beat on Wednesday, the Phoenix Suns, are a train wreck. They fell to 14-40 with the loss, and even had players fighting on the bench:

In the most painful moment of the night (and probably all season in the NBA), LeBron James drilled D’Angelo Russell in the nuts with a pass:

So. Much. Ouch.
