Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark is coming off one of the most trying seasons of her basketball career after she was sidelined for the majority of the season with various lower-body injuries.
However, Clark is healthy again and will be taking the floor this month for Team USA in the FIBA World Cup qualifiers. She was recently seen draining threes in the Fever’s practice facility using FIBA regulation basketballs.

However, one of Clark’s teammates, both on the Fever and Team USA, suffered an injury in the final regular season game of her season in Unrivaled, a three-on-three women’s league that competes during the WNBA’s offseason.

At the time, Fever reporter Chloe Peterson reported that while Unrivaled’s injury report was vague, more news about the injury’s severity would be revealed closer to the World Cup qualifiers.
“Considering the Unrivaled season ends in three days, “out for the season” doesn’t give much clarity on the seriousness of the injury. Boston is slated to join USA Basketball for training camp in Miami on March 6, so we should know more by then (if not earlier).”
Peterson was correct, and on Thursday, she followed up. Unfortunately, she confirmed the worst.

It’ll be interesting to see how Clark looks without the “Shaq” to her “Kobe” not only in international play but also potentially for the start of the WNBA season.
