Caitlin Clark Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark (22) celebrates after scoring a 3-pointer Saturday, June 14, 2025, during a game between the Indiana Fever and the New York Liberty at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Although Indiana Fever point guard Caitlin Clark hasn’t been available outside of 13 games this season due to injury, the impact she’s left on the organization since joining has been undeniable. The Fever ended their playoff drought in Clark’s rookie season and are back in the playoffs this year, where they have advanced to the Conference Finals.

However, things haven’t gone as well for Clark’s biggest rival in the league, Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese, who also entered the league in the 2024 WNBA draft. Since Reese joined the franchise, the Sky have failed to make the playoffs and have been a constant presence near the bottom of the standings.

Now, it’s looking as if the Sky’s inability to keep Reese in lockstep with her biggest rival is taking its toll on their All-Star forward.

“Angel Reese, 2 other Chicago Sky stars skip out on media exit interviews,” Awful Announcing reported.

Fans reacted to the news on social media.

“She’s a prima Donna. Can’t shoot. Her BS attitude doesn’t fit in Chicago,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“Disappointing. She’s a star with a lot of fans. Do the interviews. Promote the sport,” someone else added.

“What a terrible look for the WNBA. Nobody in that league even wants to promote itself except CC,” another fan wrote.

It’ll be interesting to see if Reese tries to force her way to a more successful organization over the offseason.
