Unfortunately, WNBA star Caitlin Clark is dealing with injury concerns for the third time in just the first half of the season. Clark was first sidelined for over two weeks with a quad injury, before returning and having to miss two more weeks with a groin injury.
Clark then tweaked her groin again in Tuesday’s win over the Connecticut Sun, causing he to miss Wednesday’s game against the New York Liberty and throwing her status for All-Star weekend festivities into doubt.
Curiously, a picture is going viral on social media of Clark hanging out with the New York Liberty’s stars and head coach after the game, leaving many to wonder why the Fever star turned to her rivals in what’s been a difficult time for her rather than spend the time with her own teammates after a loss.

Fans reacted to the viral photo on social media.
“She has her eyes on the best coach in the WNBA,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“You guys realize that she’s going to coach her in the all star game which is the next game on the schedule and Sabrina is on her team? Why wouldn’t they talk post game?” another fan wrote.
“You have no idea how much I love this…when is the last time you saw CC genuinely smile like this…the LIBERTY know how much value and talent CC carries…PLEASE GO TO THE LIBERTY,” someone else added.
It’ll be interesting to see if the Liberty tryu to make a move to add Clark to their star-studded roster.
