With the UCONN Huskies and young star Paige Bueckers winning the NCAA women’s national championship, fans are eagerly awaiting the chance to watch Bueckers get drafted to the WNBA and compete once again against the face of women’s basketball, Caitlin Clark.

However, it wasn’t very long ago that Clark was competing at the college level herself. The Indiana Fever phenom led the Iowa Hawkeyes to back-to-back national championship appearances prior to turning pro.

It wasn’t just when the lights were the brightest that Clark managed the impossible either. Clark spoke to legendary late-night host David Letterman about an iconic scrimmage against Iowa’s men’s practice squad where she scored 22 points in two minutes.

Now, footage of Clark’s dominance against the men has surfaced, and it’s stunning.

Fans reacted to the footage on social media.

“It would have taken Angel Reese a month and a half to get the same amount of points in the same situation,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“I think this Page Bueckers talk is excellent for women’s basketball, that being said….. Clark is at an entirely different level!!!!” added someone else.

“She couldn’t play boy’s high school basketball, she’d get destroyed physically. Playing vs. a bunch of half drunk frat boys isn’t impressive,” one fan who isn’t a believer in Clark’s greatness added.

Hopefully, next NBA all-star weekend, we will get to see Clark compete against an NBA player in a three-point contest; she clearly isn’t afraid to compete against men.
