The Indiana Fever won its fourth consecutive game on Tuesday night with an 113-92 victory over the Toronto Tempo. However, a lot of the buzz leading up to the game centered around the Fever star Caitlin Clark’s upcoming debut signature shoe with Nike, the Caitlin 1.

Clark began the rollout this week, teasing up-close photos of an all-blue colorway on her Instagram profile picture throughout the week. Fans were hoping that Clark would debut the shoes in Tuesday night’s game after arriving to Gainbridge Fieldhouse in an all-blue Alexander McQueen suit.

Clark ended up wearing Taylor Swift-themed Kobes during the game, but ensured that the Caitlin 1 would debut soon, and spoke about the creative process behind the shoes.

When I saw the final product, it was kind of one of those moments where you have those moments in life, and you’re like, ‘Dang, like that’s the one,’” she told reporters in a pregame media session. “You kind of just know in the moment, like that’s going to be something special.”

Luckily, fans didn’t have to wait long for the heavily anticipated kicks. On Wednesday, Clark debuted the shoes in an Instagram post.
