The 2026 WNBA All-Star Weekend will take place in Chicago over July 24 and 25, and on Wednesday, the league announced its plans to hold marquee events over the weekend at the newly opened Obama Presidential Center.
Unsurprisingly, Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark was named one of ten starters for the All-Star game. Still, fans and pundits were shocked when voting results showed that Clark’s peers around the league voted her as the 11th best guard in the league.

“I think people need to look at themselves in the mirror.”
In Wednesday’s episode of her Post Moves podcast with Clark’s teammate on the Fever, Aaliyah Boston, WNBA legend Candace Parker addressed the voting results.
“It’s also kind of crazy. Like, I wholeheartedly believe that there needs to be some rules with the WNBA players because this is getting out of hand. Caitlin Clark voted 11th best guard by WNBA players is… that’s crazy.
“I think people need to look at themselves in the mirror and realize, like, man, you got you got some insecurities if you sitting down and putting Caitlin Clark as the 11th best guard,” she added.
“Like, y’all, y’all need to go to a therapist and figure out what childhood issues you have, because if you’re sitting there and looking at yourself in the mirror and putting her as 11th best guard.”
Considering Clark is averaging 21.2 points and 8.2 assists, good for third and second in the leagues respectively, it’s hard to argue against Parker’s points.
