Caitlin Clark Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark (22) celebrates a three-point basket Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024, during the game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Indiana Fever phenom Caitlin Clark has an argument as the biggest star in all of basketball, men’s or women’s. Clark’s celebrity is so high that 41 of the Fever’s 44 games in the 2025 regular season are going to be nationally televised, more even than the defending champion New York Liberty.

While the staggering number of 41 nationally televised games makes it clear that the league and networks are prioritizing showcasing Clark and the Fever as much as possible, one prominent figure in the sports media landscape thinks things should have been taken to another level altogether.

“If I was the WNBA, I would have considered a separate television package to a network on just Caitlin Clark games,” FOX Sports’ Colin Cowherd stated.

Fans reacted to Cowherd’s statement on social media.

“id have paid for a CC22 package. but only if it included all 44 games + playoffs,” one fan posted on Twitter.

“That would be just right for me. And also many of my friends would do the same. Only watch WNBA because of Ms. Clark,” another fan added.

“Agreed and only Caitlin could sell a package deal that the networks knew would make them $$$$$, no-one else in the league would come close and the networks know it as do all the CC haters that’s why they hate her along with her greatness, great combo,” wrote someone else.

It’ll be interesting to see just what kind of rating Clark and the Fever draw this season.
