WWE star Alexa Bliss is recovering after a horrible and shocking health scare.
Bliss, real name Lexi Kaufman Cabrera, revealed on Wednesday that she recently underwent a procedure on her skin. The five-time Women’s Champion first made notice of this on Tuesday that she had the procedure done in an Instagram story post on her verified account.
Bliss responded to a concerned fan’s tweet about her IG post.
“Thank you! Don’t worry, short healing time. always get your skin checked! Esp if you are in the sun or use tanning beds! Lol.”

Bliss then replied to another concerned fan on Twitter on Wednesday. Her response was particularly shocking.
“There was a spot on my face yes- that had gotten worse,” Bliss said after a fan asked if she’d seen marks or spots on her face. “So went to get biopsy. Was basal cell carcinoma. During my procedure doc also found other squamous cells. Was a quick and easy procedure. Glad I always get my skin checked.”

Basal Cell Carcinoma is an extremely common form of skin cancer. In fact, according to the Skin Cancer Foundation, it is “the most common form of skin cancer and the most frequently occurring form of all cancers.” 3.6 million cases get diagnosed annually according to the Skin Cancer Foundation.
Alexa has missed time recently after last appearing at the Royal Rumble. Hopefully, Bliss can make a nice and easy recovery after this health scare.
