WWE superstar IYO SKY shared an absolutely incredible and insane story about her grandfather and the sport of baseball.

IYO, who’s wrestled around the globe previously as Io Shirai, showed off her baseball fandom over the past few weeks. Shirai attended the epic World Baseball Classic Final in Miami with fellow WWE superstar Akira Tozawa. A native of Japan, SKY was there to support both Team Japan and Team USA as a baseball fanatic. On Wednesday, she told an incredible story that involved the sport and her family.

“Actually, my grandfather was a professional baseball player in Japan,” SKY revealed. “He was born and raised in Hawaii and was fluent in English, so he was friends with many major league players. His name is ISO ODACHI. #BaseBall #Respect.”

SKY also unearthed photographs of the pictures with baseballs that were all autographed.

Featured in those photos are some real heavy hitters too! Observers of the photographs noticed Hall of Famers Eddie Mathews, Mickey Mantle, Robin Roberts, and Yogi Berra, among others.

One ball pictured in the photographs was also marked from the 1953 MLB All-Star Game at the historic Crosley Field in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The photos and posts by IYO SKY went viral after she posted them. The tweets currently have over 85,000 combined views.

IYO will wrestle alongside tag team partners Dakota Kai and multi-time Women’s Champion Bayley this weekend at WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles. The trio known as Damage CTRL takes on multi-time Women’s Champions Becky Lynch, Lita, and Trish Stratus in an all-star Six-Woman Tag Team Match.
