Memphis, Tennessee’s own, legendary wrestler Ric Flair has been dealing with health scares recently and is currently in the middle of fighting skin cancer for the second time in three years. Flair confirmed the diagnosis in June after initially denying the rumors.

Flair also had concerns regarding his kidneys and heart in 2017.  He has been forced to cancel events in order to focus on his health, and he had some sobering news to share with fans on Monday.

“Surgery Coming Up. Keep Me In Your Prayers. It’s All Fragile,” the legend tweeted.

Fans reacted to the sad news on social media.

“Nothing will happen to you. Lots of strength. Soon it will be a thing of the past,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“Praying for you Ric. You got this man. Been a rough couple of years, but The Nature boy will survive. Love and respect brother,” another fan added.

“Ugh I remember the staples after my esophagectomy. Cancer sucks. Wishing you a successful procedure and speedy recovery!” someone else wrote.

“Father I am asking that you be with Ric Flair. I ask that you would heal heal not just physical but spiritual as well. I am asking that you would be with his family in your Son’s name amen,” one fan offered in prayer.

Hopefully, Flair and his family are on the other side of this sooner rather than later. In the meantime, our thoughts are with them.
